Over a span of 40 years, I've written about horses, interviewed their trainers and done a bit of race and show horse training myself, winning a world champion title and victories in both Thoroughbred and Quarter Horse stakes races.

It's been my good fortune to get training advice and insights from some of the very best and most successful trainers of various disciplines. So, any accomplishments I've enjoyed are a direct result of the knowledge so generously given by those who proved themselves in action.
